Wow, the DIY wins again!! Are you seeing a pattern here? Perfect for fall at a fraction of the price. We’ve made this pattern, and we can assure this is a great pattern you’ll turn to over and over again. If you go check out this Anthropologie skirt, you’ll notice that it has some neat contrast side panels. We’ve actually done this before (check out this post) but here’s what we’d recommend:
- Remove 1 inch from each side of the skirt front and back pieces when cutting them out.
- Cut out a contrast fabric strip 2.25 inches wide.
- Sew the contrast fabric strips to the front pattern piece on each side.
- Sew the pattern as instructed.
- Enjoy your new sweater skirt!!!
