90s Theme Week – Popular 90s clothing designers

This week we are stepping back into time back to the 90s!  We’re bringing you some vintage skirt remakes, and lots more skirt fun from the 90s.

For 90’s week, I decided to post a few pics of skirts from 90s designers. Hold on to your seat belts!!!

Tie-Dye!

1. Dolce and Gabbana skirt

This fun tie-dye skirt looks best high on the waist.  I think that it would be cute with a fun tucked-in button-down shirt and wedges.

High waists was a 90s thing!

2. Jean Paul Gaultier pencil skirt.

I love this design, and the colors chosen. The stripes help to accentuate the curves and make one look long and slender. I would wear this with a short-sleeve button-up shirt with ruffles at the neck and yellow pumps.

3. Jil Sander suit.

This is a stunning cold-weather suit that looks good with the Prada pumps on the model.

Remember wrap skirts?

4. Jil Sander wrap skirt.

This chestnut wrap skirt is perfect for cooler weather and is easily dressed up or down. It would be eye-catching with a white turtleneck and flats.

Bet this one cost a pretty penny!

5. Silver chain mail Versace skirt.

This skirt is very unique in design. I personally would not wear this flashy of a skirt, but the chain-mail design is very intriguing.

6. Versace pencil skirt.

This is my favorite of all of them. I find print on a skirt very fun; I think that we tend to get into the print-on-the-shirt-and-only-on-the-shirt rut too often. This rare ‘Miami Florida USA’ print is exciting on a pencil skirt.

These skirts show that a good design can be timeless. Even a 90s design!!!

Always be Exciting,

Allegra
